Satin and slip

Satin and slip is the wardrobe at its most fluid and least structured, which for Dahlia is saying something. Slip dresses cut on the bias, satin camisoles under a blazer that is never far away, a skirt that falls exactly where it wants to. Emerald, black, occasionally a champagne that catches the light like a good martini. These are looks for hotel bars, dive bars, and the walk from one to the other. Spring and summer are their natural habitat; in winter a coat goes over the top and the slip pretends it was always meant to be a dress.
