Navy draped satin dress with black mesh puff sleeves

A dress in two layers. Underneath, a short fitted layer of black and navy mesh with a straight neckline. Over it, navy satin draped from one shoulder across the body, caught by a wide black band at the waist, then wrapped into a long asymmetric skirt that falls to the ankle on one side and opens above the knee on the other. The sleeves are black mesh, puffed and gathered, one on each arm, so the uncovered shoulder is the only break.

Summer, in daylight, at a market where everyone else is in a T-shirt. The satin is cool to wear and the mesh lets the air through, which is the practical case; the real case is that it moves. Flat sandal, no tights, the smartwatch, done. In spring the same dress goes out at night with a black heel and nothing else changed.

The stallholders assumed I was selling something. Only the attitude.
