Blush crinkled satin tiered dress with ruched sleeves

The dress is blush satin with a crinkled finish, so it never looks pressed and never needs to be. The bodice wraps into a V, the long sleeves are ruched down the seam and gathered into balloon shapes at elasticated wrists. A tonal belt marks the waist, and the skirt falls in two deep ruffled tiers with a high-low hem that drops at the back.

It is a spring and summer dress for daytime: coffee, errands, an afternoon that ends up somewhere. The colour does better against cool metal and white light than in a garden, which is the reason to wear it in town. Flat sandals or a low mule; the tiers already have all the movement it needs.
