Cobalt leather blazer with a drape and pleated mini skirt
One blue in three surfaces: a long cobalt leather blazer with a satin back drape over a knife-pleated crepe mini skirt.
A long cobalt leather blazer with notched lapels, a single button and sleeves pushed up past the wrist, cut to hip length so it sits over the skirt rather than covering it. A panel of fluid cobalt satin is set into the back and the sides and hangs below the hem in loose points, so from behind the leather appears to be lined with liquid. The skirt is a knife-pleated cobalt mini in a matte crepe, pleats pressed sharp and the hem cut short.
All one blue, three surfaces: smooth leather, pressed crepe, slipping satin. It is an evening outfit for a bar stool rather than a chair, because the pleats need to hang. Black pointed pumps or a plain ankle boot, no tights until it is properly cold, and then black opaque ones.
Colour makes me nervous. Cobalt makes me nervous in a good way.
