Oversized cobalt blazer dress with layered sleeves
An oversized cobalt blazer dress with sleeves built from folded, layered panels, worn on its own at a diner counter. One garment, several opinions.
A blazer dress in cobalt crepe cut oversized: dropped shoulders, a long body that ends above the knee with flap pockets at the hip, and sleeves built from stacked rectangular panels that fold over each other from shoulder to wrist, so the arm reads as a series of edges. It is worn as the only garment, lapels open.
A night look for autumn and spring that does its work from the waist up; below, no tights and a black pointed pump keep it from becoming a costume. If the night turns cold, a black leather coat goes over it and nothing changes. It leans on counters well. Small hoops, the watch on the left wrist, and a hand under the chin when the coffee is late.
Blue is not a neutral. In this light it is.
