Black looks

Black is the default and the point. Dahlia wears it as a structure, not a mood: matte crepe against patent leather, knit against lace, a satin that catches the light against a wool that eats it. In black the interest moves to the cut and the texture, and to the ink, which becomes the only pattern in the frame. Every category has its black look; most have several.
