Cobalt scuba jacket with a pleated satin maxi skirt
A sculpted cobalt scuba jacket with pointed shoulders over a sunray-pleated satin maxi skirt, on a station platform at dusk.
The jacket is cut from cobalt scuba knit, the kind of dense double jersey that holds a shape without padding. The shoulders rise to a point, the collar stands up and crosses over itself, and the front closes asymmetrically with a single clean panel, no visible buttons. The hem is cut short and angled, so it sits just below the waist. Underneath, a satin maxi skirt in the same cobalt, sunray-pleated from the waistband to a handkerchief hem that skims the ankle.
Worn as one block of colour, with black pointed pumps and nothing else to break it up. The scuba takes the evening wind on a platform; the satin moves when the train does. It works for an overnight trip that ends at a dinner, or for arriving somewhere and wanting the room to notice. Spring and autumn, when a jacket is enough.
One colour, head to toe. I counted it as a personality change.

- Keep the whole look one colour
- Black pointed pump, nothing with a platform
