Burgundy wool drape jacket with a satin mini and croc boots
A sculpted burgundy wool jacket with a wide collar and one long draped panel, over a satin camisole and mini skirt, with croc over-the-knee boots.
The jacket is burgundy wool, cut close through the waist and fastened with a single hidden button. The collar opens wide into a deep V, the hem drops to points at the hip, and from one shoulder a long panel of the same wool falls past the knee like half a cape. Under it, a burgundy satin camisole and a satin mini skirt; below, over-the-knee boots in croc-embossed burgundy leather with a pointed toe.
Four pieces, one colour, three textures: matte wool, slick satin, the grain of the croc. That is what keeps a monochrome look from going flat. Autumn and winter, nights out, dinners where the coat stays on. The draped panel wants one hand free and stairs taken slowly.
I only came down for the change machine. It took the long way.

styling notes
- One colour head to toe; vary the textures instead

- Pointed toe on the boots to echo the jacket hem
