Blue puff-sleeve top with a layered satin high-low skirt

A blue fitted top with huge sculpted puff sleeves and a pointed hem, over a layered satin skirt cut high-low in navy and steel blue.

A fitted top in smooth blue crepe, with seams shaped to the body, a round neck and a pointed hem that drops to a V at the front. The sleeves are the event: oversized, sculpted puffs that stand off the shoulder and fold back on themselves. Under it, a satin skirt in layers of navy and a lighter steel blue, cut high-low so it is short at the front and sweeps long behind.

Spring or early autumn, a cafe terrace on a sunny corner. Black pointed heels or a low sandal, hair straight and falling forward. The satin moves the moment she does, and the sun picks out each layer on its own. Two blues, three layers, no other colour. The sleeves need a wide doorway. I make sure there is one.
