A cropped teal wool jacket with rust satin panels and sculpted sleeves, over a draped teal wrap skirt with a rust satin drop.

A cropped jacket in brushed teal wool, set against panels of rust satin: the satin runs over the shoulders, down the sides and out into a short peplum at the hip. Notched lapels, a wrapped front, pleats pressed into the waist, and sleeves gathered high and full before narrowing to a wide cuff. The skirt matches the wool, wrapped and draped across the front, with a long rust satin panel dropping down one side to the knee.

Autumn, an old-town room full of antiques and a grey window. Hand on the hip, because the sleeves ask for it. Black pointed boots or a plain pump, nothing else in colour. Two colours that should argue and do not. I have spoken to both of them.
