Emerald looks

Emerald is the one colour Dahlia lets shout. A satin gown, a velvet slip, a silk shirt against all that black hair: it reads as cool and expensive and it makes the ink look intentional. She wears it as a single piece and keeps everything else black, so the green is the loudest thing in the room. Evening first, autumn and winter mostly, hotel lobbies, dinners, the kind of event that gets photographed. Not a daytime colour, and she does not pretend otherwise.
