Puff-sleeve leather jacket with a blue chiffon skirt

A biker jacket in black leather with the proportions pushed: sleeves cut full and high at the shoulder, tight from the elbow down, an asymmetric brass zip, snap lapels, two small zip pockets and a short peplum of raw-edged leather flaps at the waist. It is cropped, so the skirt starts where the jacket stops. The skirt is layers of chiffon in navy, cobalt, teal and bottle green, gathered on a drawstring at the hip and cut into handkerchief points with raw edges that fall between knee and calf.

Spring and autumn, for a night out, a gallery opening or anything in a loft with brick walls and big windows. Black pointed pumps, no tights, hair down. The chiffon is light enough to move on its own and dark enough to count as evening.

Leather on top, chiffon below. I dress for two climates at once; it saves time.
