Leather and lace

Leather and lace is the oldest trick in Dahlia's book, and she is not sorry. A lace dress with a biker jacket thrown over it, leather trousers with a lace top layered over black, a corset that does both at once. The hard piece keeps the soft one honest and the soft one keeps the hard one from looking like a costume. Almost always black, occasionally oxblood when she wants to make a point. Built for bars, late dinners and the kind of event where the invitation said nothing about a dress code. Year-round, with the jacket doing the seasonal work.
