Indigo leather blazer with pleated sleeves and a satin skirt

A fitted indigo leather blazer with sunray-pleated balloon sleeves, over a bias-cut indigo satin midi skirt with a side slit and black tights.

The blazer is indigo leather, fitted and cropped at the hip, with notched lapels and a short peplum. The sleeves are the point: full and rounded at the shoulder, then pressed into fine sunray pleats that run down to a tight cuff. The skirt is the same indigo in satin, cut on the bias to mid-calf with a side slit, worn over black opaque tights.

Leather on top, satin below, one colour: the leather holds the shape and the satin moves under it. Autumn and winter, daytime, an office that tolerates a sleeve. Black pointed sock boots with a slim heel finish it without adding a second idea.
