This blazer is missing a shoulder. It is not looking for it. Navy wool, worn closed as a top. Then an emerald satin skirt in knife pleats, cut on a diagonal, and black platform boots. I wore it at noon. I am rarely seen at noon. Take the stairs.
A navy wool blazer with one shoulder cut away, over an emerald pleated skirt with a diagonal hem and black platform boots.
A navy wool blazer, single-breasted, one button, flap pockets, and one thing missing: the top of the left shoulder, cut away so the sleeve hangs from a strap of cloth and the arm shows through. Everything else about it is correct, which is what makes the missing piece work. It is worn closed, as a top.
The skirt is emerald satin in narrow knife pleats, cut on a steep diagonal: above the knee on one side, down to the calf on the other, so it moves like a flag on stairs. Black leather platform ankle boots with a buckle at the ankle put some weight under it. This is a daytime look for autumn and spring: a meeting, a lunch that runs long, then dinner without going home.
Navy and green in daylight. I contain multitudes, apparently.
