Gunmetal looks

Gunmetal is the dark side of silver: a grey with weight, the colour of hardware, of zips, of a sequin that has stopped trying to be cheerful. It is one of Dahlia's evening colours, sitting between charcoal tailoring and the full metallic, and it works because it is almost black without being it. Sequinned minis, satin slips, a leather with a matte finish. Winter and autumn, casino floors, bars where the lighting was designed by someone.
