Shearling-lined biker jacket over a burgundy knit midi dress

A black leather biker jacket, cropped to the hip, with black faux shearling lining that turns out at the wide lapels and the buckled cuffs. Asymmetric silver zip, zip pockets, a strap at each wrist. It is worn open over a fitted burgundy knit midi dress, ribbed and round-necked, that follows the body to below the knee without a seam to interrupt it.

The bottom half keeps it quiet: soft black leather flat knee boots with a round toe and a low block heel, and short black leather gloves. This is the version of Dahlia that leaves the house before ten. Two colours, one texture against another, a dress warm enough to make the jacket optional and a jacket heavy enough to make it not.
