Oversized camel leather trench with black satin trim

An oversized camel leather trench with black satin cuffs and leather trim, belted at the waist and worn closed to the floor.

The trench is camel leather, soft and matte, cut oversized with dropped shoulders, wide lapels and long sleeves finished in black satin turn-back cuffs. Black leather trim runs along the lapel edge and down the front placket, and a wide suede panel at the waist takes a self belt knotted at the front. The coat falls to the floor and is worn closed, with only a black top visible at the neck.

It is a coat that behaves like a dress. Nothing is needed underneath beyond a plain black base, and the shoes can be whatever the night asks for: a pointed boot in cognac or black, nothing with a platform. Autumn into winter, long evenings, car to door. The black trim keeps the camel from going soft.
