Mauve layered panel top and burgundy draped skirt
A mauve top with folded angular panels over a burgundy draped tulip skirt with a black leather waistband, at a sunlit window.
A sleeveless top in a soft mauve suede-touch fabric, built from overlapping panels that fold across the chest at sharp angles, like a collar that never resolves into one. It is cut to the waist with a straight, slightly cropped hem. Below it, a burgundy draped skirt that wraps from the hips into a tulip shape, held by a black leather waistband and finished with a black leather edge along the front opening.
This is the office-to-dinner shape done without a jacket: the top is structured enough to count as tailoring, the skirt moves. Spring or early autumn, a pointed pump or a slim ankle boot, no tights. Two colours that sit next to each other without fighting.
Mauve. I had to be told the name. I still think it's just tired pink.
