Colour-block satin and wool blazer with a handkerchief skirt
A panelled blazer in navy satin, charcoal wool and rust satin, over a matching handkerchief-hem midi skirt and black platform boots.
A single-button blazer pieced from vertical panels: navy satin on the sleeves and one front, charcoal flecked wool down the middle, a stripe of rust satin and a band of brown satin at the sides. The lapels are notched, the flap pockets are black, and the panels continue straight down into the skirt, a midi cut to handkerchief points in the same navy, charcoal and rust, so the whole look reads as one tall stripe.
The boots are black leather with a thick platform and a block heel, zipped at the ankle, and they stop the skirt from floating off. No top under the blazer, no belt, no bag. Autumn, a living room full of plants with the blinds half up, Sunday lunch that turns into Sunday dinner.
Four colours. I am aware. It will not happen again until it does.

styling notes
- Platform ankle boot, not a heel; the skirt needs weight
- No top under the blazer
- Hair down, pushed behind the shoulders
- No bag, no belt; the panels are busy enough
