Green pleated puff-shoulder jacket and rust organza skirt
A green pleated jacket with built-up shoulders over a tiered rust organza skirt, in a sun-bleached courtyard.
A jacket that takes the shoulder seriously: fine knife pleats run on the diagonal across a fitted green bodice, the sleeves rise into sharp, built-up puffs and a high collar sits close to the jaw. It fastens edge to edge at the front with no visible buttons and cuts away at the hip into two short points. Under it, a rust organza skirt in three tiers, cut high at the front and dropping to the ground behind, every layer catching the light differently.
Worn as a pair, nothing else needed; the skirt is light enough for a hot afternoon and the jacket does all the structure. Hair down, small hoops, a sandal you can walk cobbles in. Spring or summer evening, a garden event, anywhere with walls old enough to deserve it.
Colour, twice, in one outfit. I'm taking the rest of the week off.

styling notes
- Keep the jacket closed; the shoulder is the point
- Small hoops only, the collar does the rest
- A flat sandal or a low heel for stone floors
