Cobalt one-sleeve midi dress with black slash panels

A cobalt midi dress with one balloon sleeve, gathered at the shoulder and into a wide cuff at the wrist, the other shoulder cut clean with no sleeve at all. The bodice is pieced with narrow black slash panels that angle across the chest and down the hip, a perforated section at the side lets the black ground show through in a dot grid, and the skirt is a slim pencil with a draped hip and a hem below the knee. The fabric is a dense matte crepe.

It reads as office tailoring in the daylight and something sharper after dark. Black pointed pumps with a thin heel, no tights until winter and then black opaque ones, hair straight and down on the sleeveless side so the tattoo shows. Autumn and spring, dinner after a long meeting.
