Burgundy wool blazer dress with peak lapels
A burgundy blazer dress with peak lapels and a single button, worn with no tights at a cafe terrace with an espresso.
A blazer dress in burgundy wool with a faint satin sheen on the lapels: peak lapels, a single covered button at the waist, flap pockets at the hip and sleeves cut long with a slight gather at the shoulder head. It is fitted through the body and ends high on the leg, so the line is one long column of one colour from collar to hem. It is worn alone, as a dress, not as a layer.
It is the outfit for a terrace table at eleven and a dinner table at nine, in spring, summer and the warm half of autumn. No tights until it is genuinely cold, then black opaques. A pointed black pump, or a black sandal with a thin strap for the daytime version. Small hoops and the watch. The tattoos on the legs are the only pattern.
Second espresso. First conversation of the day, with no one. Both going well.
