Navy and charcoal patchwork blazer with a draped wrap skirt

A fitted blazer pieced from navy and charcoal wool with a grey satin lapel and cuffs, over a navy draped wrap skirt layered on a charcoal pencil skirt.

A fitted single-button blazer pieced from three cloths: navy wool on one front and the sleeves, charcoal wool on the other front, and a grey satin shawl lapel that runs into deep satin cuffs turned back at the wrist. The hem is cut short and uneven so the satin facing shows at the hips.

Under it, a navy wool skirt wrapped and draped at the front over a charcoal pencil skirt that falls to the knee, the two hems crossing at different lengths. Autumn and winter, a train at seven, an office at nine, dinner in a city you have not been to before. A black pointed pump or a slim boot, and the hair down over the satin.
