Burgundy satin wrap blazer with leather trim and mini skirt

A burgundy satin blazer cropped to the waist, wrapped and belted in matching leather, over a burgundy satin mini skirt. Laundromat, after midnight.

A cropped blazer in burgundy satin with the lapels, the wrap band and the waist belt cut in burgundy leather, so the shine of the satin is held in place by something matte. The sleeves are long and pushed up; the body ends exactly at the waist and wraps closed to one side. Under it, a mini skirt in the same satin, wrapped and short, with a soft fold at the front.

It is a winter night look that reads as a suit from a distance and as two pieces up close, which is useful at three in the morning. Wear it with a black pointed pump or a sharp ankle boot, no tights, small hoops and the watch. The leather trim keeps the satin from going soft.

Everything I own is in the dryer. This was in the car.
