Burgundy cape-sleeve wrap top and textured wrap skirt
A burgundy jersey wrap crop top with draped cape sleeves and a matching textured wrap skirt, worn in a red diner booth after midnight.
The top is burgundy jersey cut as a wrap: a deep V front, a knot tied at the waist, cropped just above the skirt, and sleeves that are not really sleeves but long draped panels hanging from the shoulder like a short cape. The skirt is the same burgundy in a heavier textured knit, wrapped high on the waist and falling to the calf with a deep overlap that opens when she sits.
Two textures, one colour, and a booth that matches. Jersey drapes, the waffle knit holds, so the outfit has movement on top and structure below. Black strappy sandals are the only contrast and the only hard line. It is a night-out outfit for autumn and spring, for dinners that run late and end somewhere with neon and coffee refills.
The booth was red. I took that as agreement.
