Blush satin ruffle blazer with tiered tulle skirt
A blush satin blazer with cascading ruffles down the sleeves, over a tiered tulle skirt in sand. Two in the morning, counter seat, nothing ordered.
A blazer in blush satin, cut long with a shawl collar and sleeves that carry three tiers of ruffles from shoulder to wrist, the hem finishing in a short pointed peplum at the back. Under it, a tulle skirt built in tiers, sand coloured, full and long enough to need its own stool.
The satin and the tulle are close in colour on purpose; the texture does the talking. It is a night look that does not need a dance floor: a diner counter at two in the morning, a cocktail bar before that, a spring evening when the air is still warm enough for satin. Small hoops, the watch, a pointed pump in the same blush or in black if the night is going somewhere else.
I came for the pie. I stayed for the lighting.
