Red crepe wrap dress with pleated bishop sleeves
A red crepe wrap dress with notched lapels, pleated bishop sleeves and an origami-folded skirt, carried through a station with a tan leather tote.
The dress is red crepe, cut like a blazer at the top and like a sculpture below. Notched lapels cross over the chest into a fitted wrap bodice, and the sleeves are the point: accordion-pleated chiffon bishop sleeves, full to the elbow, gathered into a narrow cuff. From the waist the skirt folds in on itself in flat origami panels over a straight midi line, so it moves without flaring.
Worn on its own, no belt, with a structured tan leather tote on the arm. It is a travel dress for the kind of trip where you arrive and go straight to the table: spring, autumn, a heated carriage in winter. A pointed boot or a low pump underneath, nothing that competes with the sleeves.
Red on a Tuesday platform. The timetable had never looked so underdressed.

styling notes
- Let the sleeves do the work: no belt, no scarf
- A pointed boot or a low pump, never a platform
- One tote, structured, in tan not black
- Hair down and straight so the lapels stay the focus
