Emerald, satin, leather. Three of my weaknesses. A cropped emerald blazer, one cap sleeve and one long sleeve cut open, over an emerald leather panelled mini skirt. Black chunky platform boots, no tights. One sleeve was enough. I kept both anyway. Night out, everything else black.
A cropped emerald blazer in satin and leather with one cap sleeve and one long cut-out sleeve, over a matching leather-panelled mini skirt and platform boots.
The blazer is emerald on emerald: a satin body with leather lapels, a leather pocket flap and leather sleeves, cropped to the waist and closed with a single button on an angled front. The sleeves are deliberately mismatched, a short cap sleeve on the left and a long leather sleeve on the right with a cut-out at the elbow. The skirt is the same green in leather, a mini with curved front panels that overlap like armour and an asymmetric hem. Black chunky platform boots with a rounded toe finish it.
It is a set for drinks, for an opening, for any evening that starts in a gallery and ends somewhere darker. Spring and autumn, no tights. The tonal green does the talking, so the rest stays black and quiet: boots, bead bracelet, small hoops, hair down and straight.
One sleeve is a decision. Two matching sleeves are an oversight.

- No tights
- Chunky platform, not a heel
- Keep everything else black; the green is the point
