Cobalt micro-pleated dress with a laser-cut midi skirt
A cobalt dress in two halves: a micro-pleated bodice with one wide fan sleeve, then a midi skirt punched with leaf-shaped cut-outs.
The bodice is cobalt micro-pleated crepe, wrapped across the body to a deep diagonal neckline. One sleeve is cut as a wide stiff fan of pleats that stands away from the arm; the other side stays close. At the waist the pleats stop and the fabric changes to a heavier cobalt crepe.
The skirt is a midi with a scalloped, uneven hem and a side slit, laser-cut all over in leaf and petal shapes. Black leather sandals with wide crossed straps and a sculpted heel ground it. Wear it to dinner or an event from spring to early autumn, hair long and loose so the sleeve has room.
The hotel had three restaurants. I chose the bathroom floor for the light.
