Cobalt knit top with pleated cap sleeves and a pencil skirt
A ribbed cobalt knit with pleated cap sleeves over a textured cobalt pencil skirt with leather tabs. One colour, head to knee.
The top is a fine ribbed knit in cobalt, crew neck, fitted through the body and tucked in, with cap sleeves pleated into a sharp fan that sits off the shoulder like a small wing. The skirt is the same blue in a textured weave, high-waisted and pencil-cut to the knee, with a draped front panel that falls open over the hip and two navy leather tabs stitched across the side pocket.
Worn as a set it reads as one piece, which is the point: one colour, two textures, no belt. It is office cloth with a sleeve that does the talking, so the rest stays plain. A pointed pump in black or a navy loafer, and nothing on the ears but small hoops. Spring and autumn, any weekday that needs a decision made before ten.
Blue is not a neutral. I wear it like one anyway.
