Charcoal and silver pleated fan top with a navy maxi skirt
A knife-pleated top in charcoal and silver that fans out past the shoulders, over a navy crinkle maxi skirt with gathered pockets.
The top is two colours of knife-pleated fabric, charcoal on one side and silver on the other, cut as one flat shape that wraps the torso and fans out beyond each shoulder like an open blade. It is cropped at the ribs, sleeveless in effect, with a high folded collar that stands against the neck. The skirt is navy, floor-length and gathered at the waist in a crinkled, washed fabric, with two oversized patch pockets that pull the volume to the hips.
Two shapes, both big, kept in a tight palette so they read as one. This is an editorial look first, an event look second, and it needs an empty room: a warehouse, a gallery, a long corridor. Spring through autumn, with a flat black sandal or a pointed pump hidden under the hem.
The shoulders enter the room first. I follow when I feel like it.
