Pleated-sleeve sleeveless blazer and black denim trousers

The blazer is black, long and sleeveless, cut with sharp padded shoulders and raw-edged armholes, worn closed low at the front, as a top. The sleeves are separate: knife-pleated bells that sit on the upper arm and flare to the wrist, so the tattoos show at the shoulder and the pleats do the talking below. The trousers are black denim, high-waisted and wide, with a pressed crease and a heavy hem that breaks over block-heel ankle boots.

This is evening tailoring that started in daylight: a car park at golden hour, concrete pillars throwing long shadows across the deck. Wear it for a launch, a dinner that will turn into drinks, or any room where you want the shoulders to arrive first. Autumn and spring, when no sleeves and a blazer make sense at the same time.

The sleeves are detachable. The attitude is not.
