The shoulders are padded into sharp points, the bodice is draped diagonally across the body with a slash cut open below the collarbone, and one side of the waist is cut away entirely. From the waist the skirt falls in knife pleats to the floor, with a high side slit on the right. The satin is dense and matte enough to hold the pleats, and glossy enough to change colour in the sun.
