Floor length. I don't do stairs in this. An emerald satin gown, folded sleeves that stand on their own, a bronze plate belt, and a high side slit, cut exactly where I wanted it. The slit was not an accident. Nothing about me is. Evening only. Pointed heel, out of sight.
Emerald satin, floor length, with folded sleeves that stand on their own and a slit that goes where the tattoo is.
A floor-length gown in emerald satin, built from two fabrics in the same green: a liquid satin and a matte, textured weave that runs down the right side like a second opinion. The neckline is an off-centre V. The sleeves are short, folded and stiff enough to stand away from the arm, which leaves the forearms free. A slim metal plate in rose bronze sits at the waist, and from there the skirt gathers, drapes to one side and opens in a high side slit.
It wants an evening that starts outdoors: a terrace, low sun, a drink held in the other hand. Heels are assumed. Hair down and straight, small hoops, and the watch stays on because it always does. The slit is on the left for a reason, and the reason is floral.
I am told this is a colour. I am taking it well.
