Hair up means business. Nothing before the first coffee. A teal scoop-neck crop top, teal leggings with mesh panels, an oversized cream rib cardigan worn loose on the shoulders. White high-tops. The cardigan is for the walk in and out. Gym, then breakfast.
A teal crop top and mesh-panel leggings under an oversized cream knit cardigan, worn in a boxing gym with black hand wraps.
A two-piece in deep teal: a scoop-neck crop top with a perforated hem band, and high-waisted leggings with long mesh panels down to the knee and a perforated stripe at the side. Over it, an oversized zip cardigan in a chunky cream rib, worn loose and low on the shoulders, with sleeves long enough to hide the hands until they are needed.
Worn with printed white high-top trainers and black hand wraps, leaning on the ropes of a boxing ring in winter-morning window light. The cardigan is the off-duty half: it goes on for the walk in and the walk out, and the set does the work in between. Good from autumn into spring, and for the coffee after, with the wraps taken off first.
Hair up means I am serious. It also means I answered nothing before nine.
