Ivory looks

Ivory is white with the temperature turned down. Warmer than optical white, softer next to the black hair, it is the colour of satin slips, silk shirts and the occasional suit Dahlia wears when black would be too obvious. It sits well with gold and with the black-and-grey of the tattoos, which read as drawings on it. Spring and summer mostly, evenings in warm light, anywhere the dress code says something vague about elegant. Not to be worn near red wine.
