Charcoal cut-out blazer with a draped faux leather skirt
A charcoal cropped blazer with cut-outs at the waist over a grey distressed faux leather wrap skirt with an asymmetric drape, in a painter's loft at dusk.
A charcoal wool blazer cropped to the waist, oversized through the shoulder, with a single hidden closure and horizontal cut-outs at both sides of the waist that leave a narrow band of fabric across each opening. The sleeves are pushed up. Below it a wrap skirt in grey faux leather with a distressed, marbled finish, gathered at the hip and draped into a long asymmetric point that falls past the knee on one side.
Two greys, matte on matte, held together by the cut-outs and the drape. It is a dinner-then-somewhere look for spring and autumn: no tights, a black pointed heel or a sock boot, a small black bag if any. The blazer closes with one button and that is the whole top.
Grey on grey at blue hour. Even the windows matched. I planned that.
