Noon is not a reason to wear white. A one-shoulder faux leather corset top with cut-outs, and wide-leg trousers with mesh panels down the side. Lug-sole platform boots, flat. Forty degrees outside. The mesh panels are my air conditioning. Wear it against concrete. Hair behind one shoulder.
A faux leather one-shoulder corset top with mesh-panel wide-leg trousers and lug-sole boots. All black, at noon, against concrete.
The top is a one-shoulder corset in black faux leather: boned through the front, pointed at the hem, with a slashed opening at the neckline and a strap that leaves a cut-out at each side of the waist. It is built like armour and cut like something much less sensible.
The trousers are high-waisted black wool with a wide leg and a long mesh panel set into the outside of each one, hip to hem, so the line reads as a shadow rather than an announcement. Lug-sole platform boots keep the hems off the ground and the whole thing off the red carpet. Wear it from late spring to early autumn, at night, anywhere with concrete and no dress code.
Leather at noon against a sun-heated wall. I have been told there are cooler options. I have not looked into it.

styling notes
- Hair straight and behind one shoulder so the single strap reads
- Flat platform boots, not heels: the trousers already do the drama
- Small hoops only
