A tonal set in soft charcoal. The sports top is a scoop-neck longline with a mesh inset at the centre and a wide band below it. The leggings are high-waisted with a flat front and bands of mesh that wrap the leg on the diagonal, from the thigh round to the calf, so the leg reads in stripes and looks longer.
Grey is easier than black in bright light and less serious. It needs very little: black trainers, a white towel over the shoulder, the watch. Spring to early autumn, early or late, when the roof is warm and the sun is low.
Charcoal is my idea of a bright colour. Nobody has argued yet.
